The Ocean: Through Your Lens - MOUA Photography Competition
Are you a professional photographer or just enjoy taking photos underwater?
The Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) invites photographers of all levels—professional and amateur, scientists and citizen scientists, ocean lovers and adventurers—to take part in a special photography competition celebrating the beauty, diversity, and importance of our oceans during the week of World Ocean Day 2026.
This 2nd annual photography competition is an opportunity to showcase the power of imagery in ocean conservation while raising funds to support ongoing ocean conservation and education initiatives. Whether you are capturing vibrant coral reefs, marine wildlife, or the striking underwater sculptures of MOUA, your images can inspire change and deepen connections to the ocean.
How to Get Involved:
Submit your best ocean-inspired photographs for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Join a community of like-minded photographers and conservationists.
This is more than a competition—it is a chance to use photography as a force for good. Whether behind the lens or through your support, be part of a movement to protect our oceans and share your story with the world.
A big thank you for the support and sponsorship of Garricks Camera House, OM System, Underwater Australasia, Adreno, Pleasure Divers, Osprey Australia, and other local businesses.
