The late Sir Maurice Yonge is a renowned marine zoologist who lead the Great Barrier Reef Expedition in the 1920s that opened up the scientific world to the marvels of the reef and laid the groundwork for modern coral reef biology.

The 2.2 meter high limited edition concrete sculpture for sale is a copy of the original sculpture that is part of MOUA’s Ocean Sentinels underwater installation on the Great Barrier Reef by world famous artist Jason deCaires Taylor.
