The Great Southern BioBlitz is an annual event that brings together citizen scientists, students, divers, fishers, scientists and conservationists throughout the southern hemisphere for an intense biological survey of the local natural environment.
Join us for this amazing event, run by the Museum of Underwater Art and explore the marine life of Port Hacking, Sydney.

Where: Jibbon Beach, Port Hacking, NSW, Australia
How: Bring your own snorkel/dive gear or hire from a local dive shop.
Take underwater photos of marine life and upload them to iNaturalist, where they will be added to the Great Southern Bioblitz 2025: Port Hacking Project.
